ServiceMobility— another solution offered by ServicePower is a multiplatform, HTML5 browser based product that can be deployed as an application and has robust functionality that tailors to field service. It includes asset GPS based location and facilitates having better visibility from the HR perspective. Integrated to the ServiceScheduling product makes it possible to drive optimization while keeping track of the technician’s locations compared to job status reporting.
In addition, using M2M technology, clients with connected devices or machine components can communicate with other machines throughout the business process to initiate intelligent field events, while also enabling true field optimization and mobilization.The adoption of integrated M2M technology is being driven by industry groups like the Zigby Alliance and communication service providers such as AT&T.
